I enjoyed watching him last year. Didn't catch many OM bball games but WTF?
2-16 from 3 in their tourney loss to UGA?
Season stats:

And he shot more than 16 times per game. Terrible

Ole Miss was Hewnderson and Summers....two trick pony and its easy to defend.

Agreed. I'm indifferent towards him as a person, but as a basketball player...he's just not worthy of his hype.

He sold more tickets than any other player, coach or team in our history. He served his purpose and I loved having him for two years. He was the reason we beat 13 of 14 SEC schools in basketball, won the SEC tournament and won an NCAA tournament game over the Big 10 champions last year.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... it's sad that Ole Miss praises the loud, obnoxious idiot but fails to show the better player and better shooter any favor. Jarvis Summers is 10x the player and shooter Marshall Henderson is.

Marshall made the university more money and got it much more publicity because of his antics. That's why I'll always like the guy. Our program is far and away the worst in the SEC but he had ESPN and other outlets talking about us.
That's why he is loved more by fans and gets more praise than any other player.

He might be in the NBA. I don't think he will be, and if he is it won't be for long.

I completely understand the point. I just don't agree with it.
I think my problem is how much Henderson gets talked up and how he severely underperforms. Don't get me wrong, when the guy is hot, he can shoot with the best of them. He's just extremely inconsistent. His shooting can sometimes be the equivalent of turnovers because of how horribly bad it can get.

Yep I do. He is a D-league player if anything. Might be lucky to ride the bench for a year though.

D-league doesn't equal the NBA. To say anything different is laughable at best. He won't be playing D-league tho. He'll prolly have to play overseas. With his checkered past, and his sub-par talent I highly doubt any NBA team takes that kind of chance on him.

I think you need to re-read the thread. I agree he will probably play overseas and might get a chance like Jarvis Varnado.

Jarvis Varnado has intangibles that translate to the NBA. Marshall Henderson does not. Sorry, streaky shooting and no defense isn't NBA talent.
