re: Marshall Henderson is absolutely terrible

Everyone is so butthurt about ole miss having Marshall Henderson, yet he sold out just abut every arena he played in.. You love to hate him, but paid to see him play. He kept us in games we had no business being in and helped us beat Wisonsin in the NCAA tourney last year. If he magically had one more year of eligibility I would welcome him with open arms.

Hendo made OM relevant for the past two years atleast in everyday discussion, which as Mr. Jones pointed out helped the program. JOB did the same thing just not in the same manner. Let's not get revisionist memory of JOB, he is way better than when he started at LSU especially as a shooter but he still can't play defense without fouling and becomes extremely frustrated when he doesn't start out on fire which shows up for the rest of the game. Also never led his more talented teams to the NCAA because of this.

Anywhere in the country(non-SEC), ask a person to name the first player in the SEC that comes to mind and 95% will say:

Marshall Henderson.

Ask those same people to name any player on LSU and 95% will say:

I don't know

He's not elite. He's a very good basketball player. I'm not defending him, but to say he isn't very good is laughable. Last years team was the exact same minus our best player(Chris Warren). We went from a bubble team to a defensive stop away from being at least in the Sweet 16. Marshall did well for our program. Spin it how you want, but you are blindly judging him off the last two weeks of his Ole Miss career.

Which is understandable, you being one of the biggest LSU homers I have ever seen...and that is saying some shite.
