SEC ADs will meet Wednesday in ATL and yes, future FB scheduling models will be discussed. Decision should come by Spring Meetings in May.

For two years, the SEC has debated how many conference football games to play and whether to keep permanent cross-divisional opponents. The issue strikes a powerful chord because it impacts so many elements -- historic and future rivalries, strength of schedule for the new playoff, bowl eligibility, television inventory and fan attendance.
SEC Commissioner Mike Slive swears the talking is almost over.
By the SEC spring meetings in May, Slive said there will be a final decision for the 2016 schedule and beyond. (The yet-to-be released 2015 schedule will maintain the current eight-game format of six division games, one permanent opponent and one rotating opponent.)

i'm just ready for some continuity... whether it's 8 or 9 games, we need to get away from this random cross divisional opponent every year... for auburn it's been UF/USCe one year, then vanderbilt, then UT, and now USCe again. it's crazy.

Either go to 9 game conference schedule, change members of the divisions or break the rivalries nobody cares about. We cannot continue the random scheduling where players may never play a team in the other division. One of the beauties of the SEC prior to the expansion was in a given 4 year span, you team would play every team in the conference.

You can play them 2 or 3 times a year if you like.

Move Auburn to the East, Missouri to the West. Have one rotating game against the other division and make the schedule fair for everyone. Screw the cross divisional rivals. It would make these rivalries even bigger when they are played every 8 years.
Or go to a 9 game schedule with one permanent cross divisional rival and one rotating. Still move Auburn and Missouri.

I'll be honest.
1. Its stupid having Mizzou in the East when they are pretty far west.
2. I like our Florida game and want to keep it if everything stays the same.
3. If change is coming then there really should be no cross division rivalries.
If you don't agree with this then you are a poophead
