It turns out Louisiana is the "most Southern" SEC state. Real data, real talk.
By Percentage residents state-native born:
Louisiana – 78.5
Mississippi – 71.4
Alabama – 70.2
Kentucky – 70.2
Tennessee – 61.4
Arkansas – 61.2
South Carolina – 58.0
Georgia – 55.3
Florida – 35.0

By Percentage non-native, but born in other states from The South:

To get "Most Southern", I combined the percentage of those born in-state, with the remaining percentage who are migrants from other Southern states.
And no, its not a Mizzou troll thread, even though it looks like one.
I am not surprised that Arkansas has the highest percentage of people from the West.

INcludes no data on marriage's to cousins, trailer parks, and racist crackers with type two diabetes (the sugars).

Anything that considers West Virginia and Maryland in the "South" but not Missouri means very little to me. W Virginia and Maryland make Missouri look like Tennessee in comparison, which borders us mind you.
