Former San Diego State University running back Adam Muema left the Combine workouts on Sunday, citing religious reasons, according to the San Diego Union Tribune. Muema says he did not want to participate in the drills for running backs because missing the workouts was his way of “following God.” And, according to Muema, God told him if he missed workouts, he would eventually play for Seattle — which he claimed is his “dream.”

Dude, I've never RA'd anyone, but you're getting awfully close to being my first.

Why? Because I didn't ridicule the player's actions, choosing instead to point out the double standard and hypocrisy by stating the truth?

I didn't know Michael Sam left the Combine and hurt his draft evaluation?

It's not even remotely the same thing.

It's not dickery when a player is mocked or ridiculed for following God?

That's socially acceptable nowdays it seems.

It should be socially acceptable to pretty much shite on anyone for doing anything.

This whole "I need my own protection because these other people are getting protected for something I disagree with" stuff is out of control.

Who's mocking him? I'm not. I also took as many shots at Michael Sams as anybody here. People laughed off my comments as it was pretty understood I was speaking in jest and not out of hatred, like you've been doing.

You don't think that was the intent of the OP?

Maybe not. Maybe the OP was commending the young man for his decision.

I just assumed he was being mocked for being a dumbass and fricking up his draft evaluation by leaving the Combine.

Or did I miss something?

You missed the part about him believing that God told him to do it. Of course we all know that God didn't tell him to do it, he's a Christian and stupid and cuz God doesn't speak to people cuz there's no God n everything.

Right?

I'll mock him for leaving the draft for a very dumb reason. God didn't tell him anything.

I'm not gonna mock the dude. He's hearing voices. Mental issues are something to be concerned about, not mocked.

LOL. You're not going to mock the guy (mental issues)? LOL.
