There is no evidence that the God described in the bible exists and interferes with our daily lives or prayers. Devout followers often believe God is instructing them to do things that are harmful to others or just dickheaded, selfish moves in general. And those same believers often think others they don't agree with are being instructed by or possessed by Satan. It's really scary how many people actually think this way.
