Would you be willing to start from game one and relive from scratch the 2012 season, the horrors of Lolzfler and the recruiting drama if it meant our Basketball team would be elite? I mean make the tournament consistently and potentially make noise (let's not get ahead of ourselves with anything more )

Relive it for just one year?

For the cost of establishing an elite b-ball program for years?

Sure, let's do it... as long as part of the cost is NOT firing CGM and staff.

I meant it in a completely independent of our future program's success. Basically, you had to sit through and suffer those emotional sports lows all over again and that was the cost of a good BBall program.

I think I would.

If it was just one year in a trade for an elite program that lasted years. frick yes.

For those who said no, I guess they don't care about how much money comes into the school.

Doesn't matter. What's going to happen is what's going to happen and there is nothing anybody can do to change shite. I'm fine with the way things have gone out so far. Would I like better bball play or baseball play? Of Course! But I'll let te chips fall where they may

I've reconsidered.

I would go through a 6-6 win birmingham bowl season with a loss the a bad team in Birmingham for a BB team that made the NCAA tournament 10 straight years with 220 wins and played in the elite 8 twice with one trip to final 4.

No NC required.

Who really cares about basketball? I'd take dead last in basketball and baseball every year to keep having football seasons like 2013.

Most people would choose a good football season even if it meant our bball team sucked arse.

I was just wondering if you would be willing to take the emotional torment of a shite football season if it meant you got a sustainable high level basketball program

This is all about going through the same emotional turmoil and having another blemish on our history. The state of our program and the future of our program wouldn't be affected.

We just would have to claim another 0-8 SEC record and shitastic season

Riiiighhhttt . . . But does 2013 still happen

I get what your saying, how much do we really care about basketball? I think most would sacrifice one bad football season for decent basketball at this point. But 2013 was such an outlier following 2012 aren't you scared we could end up with a bad football and basketball program?

Why wouldn't you want a good Bball team?!?! Football season last 14 games if you're lucky, Bball is over 30...

Why is everyone so white and shallow on the topic of Auburn basketball?

It would be nice for AU to be successful enough that I actually get watch them on television! I guess I'll have to fork out the cash for the SEC network to make that happen.
