Every single player that visits a school is given a jersey to put on. It's what you do on a visit, not really a big deal. Godwin is likely to stick with UGA, Auburn is more of a threat than Bama.

Doesn't really mean anything. We've seen tons of guys who didn't end up at UGA donning a UGA jersey during their OV.

Too bad we can't take this approach with the receivers supposedly looking elsewhere.

If we lose van jefferson. .already gone...Godwin and Slayton our once stacked WE pull is looking like dog shite. It would a 200% failure by this coaching staft to lose these guys in the last week

FWIW, I don't think we lose either. Richt still has his in-home with both and almost the entire staff is heading with him to see Slayton. We'll still have 3 very good receivers with Godwin, Slayton, and Stanley in this class. Jefferson would have been nice, but oh well, shite happens.
If we land Smith and bring McGraw and Allen back into the fold, plus add a guy like Choates or Williamson or Buchanan then we will end up around 4 or 5 and it will be the best class we've had under Richt.

Definitely don't want to lose Slayton and Godwin. Carson I'm not worried about the least little bit. If he wants to go elsewhere he should.

FWIW- Buchanan was here this past weekend and seemed to be having a great time, though hesitant to give a commitment. Said he would announce feb 4. Also, players all believe that Godwin is sticking with Dawgs 100%.
