Watching the Seahawks dominate their way to the superbowl, I notice that ole Carroll is doing just fine without Kiffin, but how has Kiffin done without Carroll?

I think this hire will be Saban's downfall and the return of Bama to mediocrity for a while.

Welp, it was a hellacious run at least.

Why should we care if you think he is a good hire or not?

Of course $aban will reccomend Kiffin to replace him.

I don't think Bama would be dumb enough to do that

Auburn loss.
Bowl game blowout.
Middle aged Gumpettes doing stadium seat dives.
Lane Kiffen.
5 star recruit arrested.

Saban just wanted someone that he has complete control over and will run the offense the way he wants it and is well known. Not many big time OCs like to run the HCs offense instead of theirs and will leave if they start messing with it. Kiffin is well known and doesn't really have an offense of his own. Plus no one is looking to hire him away any time soon so he will have to run what Saban wants. Plus it gives someone for Saban to blame if their OLine doesn't improve next year or they can't find a quality QB and the offense drops off.

Nah, Gary Crowton, allowed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to 'pursue other opportunities' this past year.

Don't forget the recruits flipping, coaches jumping ship, and players leaving.
