They wonder why they're always getting passed over too. It's no surprise though, they don't fill up Tiger Stadium.

Atlanta and Omaha are like a second homes to LSU fans. The selection to the CFA Bowl (instead of th Cotton) was a huge disappointment. LSU fans protested.

I don't know what it's going to take to get it back the way it used to be. Even in the mid-90s to the early 2000s, Tiger Stadium was much different than it is today.

Winning more games would be a more effective protest.

i doubt we do the same this year. The outback bowl is a new bowl for us. The chicken was old news so that explains the low numbers. We have expectations and when they aren't met we dont show up.

Unfortunately, that falls on the player and not the fans.

LSU is very selective on when they show up--when they do, it's the best environment in college football.
The UF game this year was a real eye opener though. Tons of empty seats everywhere.
I'm sorry, but if LSU fans take the "BCS, Sugar, Cotton, or bust approach" it's going to really hurt selection chances in the future.
LSU is a great regional school-- they just don't have the national appeal that Alabama, Texas, Notre Dame, USC, etc.. Have where there are "bandwagon" fans in every area of the country that will come out and see them play if they come to their location for a bowl spot.
When I went to the Cap One Bowl in 2010, I was a amazed that so many fans I sat around were just folks who lived in Central Florida, and liked Alabama football.
It's a blessing and a curse, I suppose. But it sure does help when you get a fanbase to buy tickets no matter where you go.

The Chick Fil A Bowl not selling out is not a surprise. Going to ATL is about going to play in the SEC Championship game.
FWIW Chick Fil A should offer Ole Miss. A visit to ATL for them would be like visiting a planet on the other side of the milky way
