Southeastern Louisiana. Well this isn't a very good team. They are 3-5 on the year including blowout losses to Missouri, LSU and Arkansas. Should be a win...but who knows.

Pretty shitty. A little better than last year though.

They're going to have to find a way to score against a zone, and seriously play both halves. We should get to where most project us to get that way, which should be about 14-16 wins.

The biggest deal, IMO, is pure shooters and lack of big man depth.

THIS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If we can't knock down 6-8 threes per game we arent going to beat anybody and opposing teams are going to zone the heck out of us all season.

No doubt. It's kind of in their head right now. They just need to have a game where they get hot and Ray will stop putting pass number limitations on them and they can just let loose and play more. They all had something up their arse in the TCU game, everyone but Sword. They won't look like that all year.

I am trying to round up people to go to the game, and quite frankly, it is a tough sell. I am going to end up with a party of 5 or 6, but it should be about 20.

Well I think that's a big factor in our play at home. Our attendance is dismal at best and that's just not right. You have to support these guys just to see what they're capable of.

Now I'm talking about the students mostly. I don't live near enough to go to basketball games but shite when I was a student I went just to go (that's also how my hatred for Stans grew).

Bottom line- these effing students need to start showing up for the game, and the season ticket holders as well.

I could be wrong, but I thought Greg Ellis has been talking pretty well about the students attending games this year?

Even when we were killing it, before new years it was full student sections with people sprinkled in at best.

yeah the students have been showing up. No one else is though. I can't blame the fans. I can't spend 5.5 hours on the road for a two hour game on a weeknight against a no-name. It sucks.

I have been a Ray supporter since he got here but he needs to step it up. It's refreshing to have a coach that understands how to beat a zone. Problem is the players aren't attacking like they should be. I think they will start clicking soon

Oh my apologies then, so that's the sound I was hearing from the stands watching on TV, but from the camera view it looks pathetic, maybe they should just open up the Student section to the rest of the coliseum ..

Student section should be on the sidelines, but the old geezers that don't cheer have to have those seats.
