Does Bama legitimately think they have a shot at LF?

Serious question, I know he has an official to Alabama with CRob and a bunch of others this weekend, but I want some honest opinions

Well, they've taken quite a few of kids our of Louisiana lately. That should be enough to at least give them a little hope.

A shot? Sure. Whoever thinks they can predict the mind of a 17/18 year old is dreaming. Do I think we actually land him? No, but I didn't think we had a chance to land Hand and now he is a commit.

I have no idea what the coaching staff thinks, but most of us fans give it pretty much 0% chance of happening. That doesn't keep him off my wish list, though.

It's a small chance, but it's still a chance. LF most likely ends up at LSU, but we all thought Hand was a Michigan lock and that turned out to be false.

Well at certain points this year people questioned if we had a legitimate shot at...

It smacks of arrogance and hypocrisy when you guys say you have a shot at Adoree (when was the last time you took a top recruit out of Cali from a good USC??) then turn around and condemn us for saying we have any shot at LF.

How many tissues did you use on that fateful Christmas? Same as when we took LC, Cam Rob, and Hootie? Same amount you used when your 2011 dream season was ended in nightmare fashion? Or when your hopes of beating us were screen passed away? Or when Mett got sacked again?
I don't know how many tissues to prepare for, but perhaps with your experience as an LSU fan, you can offer me some advice for tissue purchase so I can be prepared. TIA

I don't think Fournette is lock to LSU by any means but I think LSU lands him. Fournette is one of the best players to come out of high school recently and is the top uncommitted prospect in the country. 247's free period is also about to run out. I think that means we will see a lot of smoke about Fournette and Bama up until his annoucnement.
I'm not saying it's impossible for Fournette to go to Bama, but I think the information will be skewed to sell more subscriptions. I fully expect in the next few weeks especially after his Bama OV we will be hearing, "50/50 LSU and Bama at the worst, I think we [Bama] lead now...Fournette doesn't want the job handed to him....CRob and Cornwell pitched the future offensive firepower of those three combined and he loved it...I'm hearing rumblings Fournette gave his silent to Saban and the staff."
Like I said, I think a lot of the information we will see before his decision is going to be put out there with the intent of selling subscriptions. Not as many people care when the top recruits are committed or a heavy lean to a team. His announcement is going to be quite the spectacle on TD.

No they have take some recruits from a single town in Louisiana. Monroe. Not the whole state.
