This thread is for everyone who DGAS about the sec and only cares about UGA. If you love the league and want those cheating, lucky bastards In auburn to play for another title, this isn't the thread for you. If you want the newcomers who barely know their way around the building yet to play for a title when we haven't since 82, this isn't the thread for you.

Here's to those wanting a title game WITHOUT an sec team for once, since it can't be us. Go fsu and go Ohio state.

How so, bc I don't wanna watch auburn potentially win their 2nd title in 4 years with a first year head coach?

I could never pull for the osu. They cheat as much as auburn and I despise their hc. However, I am pulling for auburn to lose today. Sorry it has to be Missouri that I want to win. Go Duke.

You want an entire offseason of the media splooging all over CUM?

I don't. I want to see his team get squashed.

If it means not hearing about Auburn? In a fricking heartbeat. Amazing as it may be, I don't actually know any Ohio state fans in real life. I don't work with any, interact with any, live by any, or see their car flags. Hell I don't even really see them on the internet except the 3 or 4 on the MSB.

I see auburn fans all the time, everywhere, and they litter this website. OSU winning won't affect my life one single smidgen, but Auburn winning would.

Some of yall are way, WAY too hung up on the 08 florida game. Yeah it was an a-hole thing to do, and I still despise meyer for it, but OSU winning doesn't hurt UGA at all. Auburn winning damn sure does.

Honestly, Id rather Ohio State lose (because frick Meyer, Delaney, and their sanctimonious fans) and Auburn play for a natty. Why? Because what better way to highlight everything that is wrong with UGA than a first year coach winning at a school that had a horrendous year last year, a program that is comparable in almost every way except academics and downtown. If Auburn wins a national title and there isn't some serious reflection going on at the AD Board meeting in February, then we are a sorry arse excuse for a fanbase allowing them to take our money.

ETA: We need Auburn to at least play in the title so we can see how McGarity and Co. respond. Bama wining titles is one thing (nobody is on their level because no other program has put all their chips in Saban's corner) but Auburn winning a second title without Cam Newton and with a first year coach and a band of misfits form last year is embarrassing for UGA.

Yeah, and all that would make great talking points when writing an essay. It's not going to actually do anything in real life. Our AD and boosters aren't going to say "holy shite, auburn just won another title with a first year coach...let's start firing people! Let's start making changes!"

They know what's going on and they do what they *think* is appropriate. They'll make changes when they're ready to, and what auburn does this year won't affect that. Plus, the point has already been made simply by them being in the SECCG, them playing for the national title doesn't extra-reinforce the point.

I can't get over how pathetic this mindset is the more I think about it. for starters, if you don't like what the talking heads on sportscenter are saying then change the channel.

Next, and more importantly, look where we are now with bama. First it was "omg i hate texas and i'm pissed that mccoy broke greene's record, I'm pulling for bama!" Then auburn wins the next one and it's "oh cool, let's keep it in the SEC again!" then bama gets a rematch and everyone says "les miles is so lucky and they just beat our arse, I hope alabama beats their arse!" then it's "OMG like I hate notre dame so much because we played them that one time in 81 and the media sucks their dick and I hate teo, I hope they get killed"

And now where are we? "is alabama the greatest dynasty of all time? Is saban the greatest coach of all time? Can anyone stop alabama?" not to mention they have their handpick of 5 stars all over america and their fans are absolutely insufferable.

I could not care less about urban meyer. I don't like him personally, but he's in another league now and doesn't affect us in the least bit. Auburn does affect us, quite a bit in fact. My hatred for auburn is far, far more than my hatred for urban meyer and anyone who says different just doesn't have very good rational thinking skills.

Btw, what if Frank Beamer was coaching OSU instead of meyer, would yall still be all pro-Auburn? If not, then you, as a Georgia fan, are admitting that you dislike a guy that USED to coach at florida 5 years ago more than you dislike our oldest rival who is 30 minutes from our border, recruits against us heavily every year, and just won a national title 3 years ago.

That's absolutely insane.

Oh yeah that's a given. I'm not an OSU fan by any means and hope they get trounced by FSU. My whole stance is basically summed up with "anyone but SEC".

Well FIRST and foremost, above OSU winning, I'm pulling for mizzou no doubt.

However, given your scenario, you realize missouri would play for a national title right? In year 2 in the league, fricking MISSOURI playing for a title. Why would you want that?
