I'm ambivalent. If I thought the Board and AD would actually force change as a result of another Barn natty, I would be all for the Barn and MSU. Otherwise, a Barn victory and natty just helps the Barn recruit without having to pay players.

It's irrelevant. FSU will beat Auburn/MiZzzouri like a drum.

The SEC has won 7 straight national titles...what makes yall think that #8 is what's going to promote change?

They should, but who knows. People like to downplay them (which has some merit because got damn they are getting some fricking breaks on their side) but Auburn really does have a fantastic offense. Their defense isn't terrible either and shut us down for half the game.

FSU is clearly the best team in the country, but don't act like Auburn couldn't hang with them. My point is I don't want an SEC team even IN the game, just let OSU go get drubbed by FSU and let's call it a season.

Can't stand OSU. You know.... The school that always bashes UGA? I would pull for them only if they played the democrats with Pelosi as QB.

I think y'all got too much hate for anything SEC not UGA. If SEC wins, it benefits us all. You can't see that kids in out-of SEC states still wanna go to an SEC school because we produce champions and NFL prospects more than any other league? You want a kid who is deciding about OSU or Auburn to go to OSU because they beat Auburn? And if Auburn has a good team and we beat them then we go up. So although I pull for another SEC school, I absolutely do so because it benefits UGA I don't let my hate get in the way.

It's not that I want it. I just hate auburn and I hate ohio state. But I hate osu bc my grandmother's side of the family is from ohio and they are all about the buckeyes. So it's kind of a catch 22 for me.

What? Where? I haven't heard any official press releases from Ohio State "bashing UGA". and I don't know any OSU fans in real life so I must have missed all that. I do however know auburn fans, and there are about 100x as many auburn fans as OSU fans on this site.

Biggest crock of shite that people still believe.

They want to go to the winning schools. How is this for a recruiting pitch:

UGA: "Come to the SEC, our conference plays for titles"
AU: "Come to Auburn, we win national titles".

Yeah, makes sense.

quote:

You want a kid who is deciding about OSU or Auburn to go to OSU

Is this a serious question? If the nation's #1 player is deciding between OSU and Auburn there is literally not one single reason to want him to go to auburn instead of osu.

quote:

if Auburn has a good team and we beat them then we go up.

And if auburn doesn't have a good team, we win more. If auburn doesn't have tre mason and dee ford and nick marshall we beat them this year don't we? But I guess we can all take comfort in that auburn was "good" when we lost to them.

quote:

I absolutely do so because it benefits UGA

But it fricking doesn't.

Well doesn't that give them a valid reason? Is that any worse than all the people in metro atlanta now flying auburn flags that weren't there 12 months ago just because they're winning?

WG, (I have not read the entire thread)

One flaw in a Dawg pulling for Ohio State today is that Urban Meyer will take from you more than Auburn or Mizzou will... matter of fact FSU vs Ohio St is possibly the worst combination for you.. gonna have to contend with Auburn whether you like it or not... and might as well leave the Big10 out of the equation. I dunno.

Go Mizzzou.

Sure, but that doesn't mean that that shite doesn't get on my nerves. It's personal I suppose.

I explained the logic, you just don't like it.

Maybe you hate Auburn more than you love UGA. Because a great SEC benefits us all. It's pretty simple

Well that's simply not true. And let's say for a minute it WAS true...who cares? I'd rather lose kids to OSU where we'll never see them again than have to play them every year..like we do auburn.

If you're a 5star QB in North damn Dakota and you want to choose the best conference where you can grow and be the best you can be.... Well SEC man! Maybe Alabama didn't give you an invite but UGA did.

Now USC and Oregon want you too so again, where do you go? fricking UGA in the SEC. Why is this so hard to understand?

We've already lost Dontavious Russell to Auburn cause of their success against us & Bama. They'll take who ever they want with another BCSNCG under their belt. thrown in the money & other undertable perks, add Rodney Garner & Brother Chette Williams to the mix & we're screwed...

I hate Urban & OSU too but Imma not cutting off my nose to spite my face...
