Pretty obvious what Auburn's will/should be offensively: get that option run going early and often and force Bama to load up the box, then try to attack downfield against Bama's weak-arse secondary in man coverage situations.

Bama gameplan: completely balanced attack? Auburn has a great pass rusher in Ford and an OK secondary, but are pretty weak at MLB. I see lots of screen passes, slants, runs up the middle, and play action. Keep Auburn guessing, try not to get too one dimensional.

The special teams battle in this game is going to be great. I don't think either team should have a special game plan there other than neither team worrying with blocks and try to set up good returns.

X-factor: If Malzahn can take a couple of chances early (go for it on 4th down, throw the ball 50 yards, etc) and convert, he can 1) ignite the crowd and 2) get Bama players believing that they just might be playing against Auburn and something bigger. Great luck often begets itself and fortune favors the bold, etc.

Gus will make the offense look somewhat different early, Then eventually go back.

He knows Saban is smarter than most of the guys he has schemed against and has more weapons.

He will also have a different scheme for getting plays in the game.

Spot on analysis. We'll need to control the clock like we did for 3 quarters against UGA.

Bamas gameplan should be to pound the ball. I expect Auburn to throw some stuff at the bama d that isn't on film early. I think Collins and Mosley are the keys to Bama stuffing the run.

We're #2 in the SEC and #9 in the nation in passing defense, dumbass.

Obvious. Shut down the run and make Marshell beat you with his arm, pound Auburn's defense with the running game and short passes.

Everything you said is spot on IMO.

This or an early turnover could be huge. Bama really better start strong. If the crowd really gets going and believing...

I feel kind of the same way that I did before the ND game last year, TBH.

We've played exactly one team that has a great passing attack and got destroyed. Hell LSU ate us up for a half.

Our safeties are good, but our corners aren't that good in coverage. They are really good at tackling, which I think will make the difference in the game.

This. Straight up Bama football, line up, you know what's coming, try and stop it. If Auburn tries to load the box, Bama receivers are going to have a field day.

Malzahn will have some stuff that isnt on film, I dont think there is any matchup that is a threat and can be exposed though.

I was telling my brother while we were watching Georgia start coming back that the game would be on Marshall's shoulders, and he couldn't handle it. I was right, but then the UGA DB's came through for AU.

Yeah, with our best CB injured for most of that game.

Does Auburn have "a great passing attack" or something? I apologize if they do.

We are gonna stomp auburn. This defense is better than all our past defenses, except 2011. We'll make Nick beat us with his arm. He can't.

Gameplan? Easy......

Head to Decatur, Al this week to pickup my little brother's BBQ trailer.

Order about (20) Duroc Boston butts from the butcher shop.

Ice down two kegs of homebrew in my portable kegerator.

Get to Auburn the Friday before the game and start drinking and cooking.
