There's a video out there where Malzahn tells how to attack the Bama defense.
He has a good gameplan. It comes down to can Auburn's athletes execute faster than the Alabama linebackers can stop it.
Run the jet sweep away from the field pressure and get the defense on their toes. Then you can run the option. Then you can open up the passing game.
It's going to take a huge effort by Marshall to make things happen and not fumble or throw interceptions.

Here's a good video of Malzahn on ESPN breaking down how to attack an Alabama defense. LINK

Obvious. Shut down the run and make Marshell beat you with his arm, pound Auburn's defense with the running game and short passes.
Exactly how I would do it. Do it until Auburn stops it. We have done better against the run as the season has progressed. We play the short passing game shitty. That dump off shite has eaten our lunch.

He hasn't seen CJ and LC
This is the fastest bama defense of the Saban era.

For Alabama defense, load the box and force the passes and mix in a lot of blitzes from all sides.
Alabama offense, be very aggressive and wide open. Short fast passes mixed with running straight at the meat of the Auburn defense. Essentially what UGA did in the fourth.
Auburn offense, can't drop passes and we need to control the clock. We can't settle for field goals in the red zone, we need to walk away with at least 3 of 4 touchdowns in the redzone.
Auburn defense, win the turnover battle and get a stop or two. The fact is if we load the box, AJ is good enough to beat us with his arm. He has proved this every opportunity he has been given to. I would say to run a standard defense and mix in some blitz packages to disrupt AJ, put him on his back every down they can.
Lastly, Auburn has to stay in the game early. Bama is good at coming out and destroying people early despite not really doing it this year as much. We can't lose the crowd early in the game, we need the crowd for 4 quarters.

I think this defense is faster.

Bama just needs to play physical, run the ball 80% of the time, no need to score fast - just burn the clock with 12-14 play drives and they will have no problem winning.

"Run another trick play bitch"
I honestly expect Malzahn to try something early to see if they catch our D cheating.

Not much to talk about.
Bama stops the run.
Auburn can't pass.
Game over.
Bama by 3 TD's.
If Auburn can get 3 73 yd Hail Mary's with assistance from the Bama secondary, it might go down to the wire.

I was telling my brother while we were watching Georgia start coming back that the game would be on Marshall's shoulders, and he couldn't handle it. I was right, but then the UGA DB's came through for AU.
You are such an angry little poster.

AJ has made some of his best plays exploiting openings created by blitzes this year. With Auburn's issues with short passes, AJ hitting his hot routes might not be the way to go.
