another national title before UGA does?

In my mind Auburns national title was an anomaly...which will be the same case if UGA ever wins another one....we will back into it instead of winning in dominating fashion and it will be in a year when we are not on anyones radar because this staff can't handle that sort of pressure (strange because Richt should have been used to it at FSU...)

I do not think I will ever see UGA win a national title in my life time; I'm 29 so I hope I still have a lot of years left, but I've abandoned the hope of ever seeing us win the big game.

So, the answer is "probably".

And to answer the OP I'm with crispy. Probably. But hey, I really love Orlando and Tampa!

Absolutely. Maybe two or three. Eventually the midget will retire. I don't approve of AU's methods, but AU will pay the price to win. Personally, I think GA can win without stooping to AU's level.

We won our last title "stooping to that level" and personally I don't give a frick of we are the meanest, vilest, inhumane team out there if we win. Anything but this moral-victory-laden bullshite.

My father is 74 and the one thing he says he is waiting to see before he takes the dirt nap is UGA winning a National Title....I told him after the Tennessee game that it looked like he was going to be around for another season....if we ever get in the title game and he is still around he and I will be there no matter what the costs....

Yes. Malzahn is obviously a brilliant offensive coach and he and/or their DC came up with an effective gameplan vs JFF and A&M.

My friend and I were saying if we ever get there we will pay whatever price it takes to get into the game, because it won't seem real if we're not there. However, I bequeathed my nephew 5K for tickets and expenses to that game since I'll probably be dead.

Yep, I don't think it will happen in my lifetime. Defense and special teams will never be a priority under CMR. The only way it happens is if Mark can hire a proven DC who can recruit defensive talent at the same level as we do on offense. We also need to focus more on strength in the trenches in general; we got whipped on the LOS on both sides of the ball yesterday against a crappy Vandy team.

It was unbelievable how much pressure AU put on Johny Autograph in the 4th qtr...Auburn is going to hurt us badly....

I was 15 years old when UGA won there last title and I was under the impression that it wasn't that big a deal.....I won't ever make that mistake again.....if we get in the game I will be there if there is any way possible.....

You can make a pretty good argument that our 1980 title was an anomaly, too. Take one phenomenal player away from either team during their championship year, and neither get within sniffing distance of it.
