"That's smoke from two sports agents on top of each other"

"Does the NCAA have a spine anymore"

Yahoo wants the NCAA to make an example of Bama.

Well duh, Yahoo was the one leading the charge against USC as well.

Yahoo sports apparently has no other purpose in life but to dig up dirt on NCAA programs and act all outraged.

We get it, the NCAA rules are stupid and broken and nobody follows them. The public is over caring.

Bama is still stacked

21-0 still happened

You're going to get all 12 inches this year as well.

Maybe the old days are over. And if they are, well, good riddance. It's about time we got on with some new ones, because it's tough to be outraged about a repaid loan of less than $500 to a key player in a hugely profitable football program.

Time will tell. That's what's interesting about this case, not the allegations against Alabama. They could come up at any school. They are partially a result of a rulebook that makes no sense. They stem from a concept of amateurism that was always bankrupt.

Sports Illustrated made a big deal of the fact that Les is way dirtier than he pretends. Nothing came of it.

Yet.

Can we name the agents? I know we can name one "runner" associated with Fluker. Can we name the agent that the asst S&C coach supposedly has ties to?

Evidently the NCAA doesn't let Yahoo be judge jury and executioner.

Yahoo has screamed about Okie State Auburn Miami and on and on and no one's gotten the DP yet.

This case had NOTHING to do with any agent. It was poor judgement on the coach's and Ha Ha's part and the Alabama Compliance Office is on the job.

I love all these posts of desperation but the fact is your boys gotta get it done on the field.

"To BE The Man, you gotta BEAT The Man!"..so quit being a bunch of Vaginamen and grow a set.

The scholarship restrictions handed down by the NCAA have clearly hurt a mega program like USC, many USC fans including some in the media want to see if another mega program gets the same treatment.

The 12 or so responses from Bama fans on the first page, tell me they aren't worried at all....

You're comparing a $500 loan to what USC did? To what Penn State did? To what was going on at Miami? Now, the D.J. Fluker stuff may blow up eventually, but even Yahoo didn't seem to think it would warrant anything in the end.
