Yahoo was bashing Ole Miss too this week. That Yahoo CEO is on the Wal-Mart board. That is our propaganda machine.

THIS. They literally can do anything they want. I can sympathize with USC and Penn State fans as we were in their shoes in the early 2000s watching other programs seemingly getting away with murder while the NCAA kneecapped us for even remotely questionable behavior. Assuming we skate, we are finally in that position.

Truth be told, the NCAA shouldn't have done anything as it pertains to Penn State. It was the popular thing to do for the public lynching, but this was strictly a legal issue that was sufficient and trumped anything their kangaroo court of misfits could do. They just wanted to be the cool kids on the block for 15 minutes, hence why you see the sanctions greatly reduced to bare bones.
