Yahoo also made a major deal of Oregon's infractions. So did CBS.

Doesn't mean shite.

If it happens, it'll be with a rented dick. How many others on the team have been paid for? It's been proven bammer is the most tainted team in football.

The NY Times is yellojournalism on a professional level. Yahoo is yellow journalism on a sub-amateur level.

THIS. They literally can do anything they want. I can sympathize with USC and Penn State fans as we were in their shoes in the early 2000s watching other programs seemingly getting away with murder while the NCAA kneecapped us for even remotely questionable behavior. Assuming we skate, we are finally in that position.

Ok with USC but Penn State....hell know.

Penn State covered up, swept under the rug or otherwise failed to stop the RAPE OF CHILDREN. This criminal behavior was done in order to not damage the "reputation" or otherwise hurt Joe Paterno or the program. The NCAA sanctions on them were not only justified but appropriate because it took away what PSU was trying to save.

NCAA knows the boys get that much stuffed down their pants every game at every college. Chump change.

You're comparing a $500 loan to what USC did? To what Penn State did? To what was going on at Miami? Now, the D.J. Fluker stuff may blow up eventually, but even Yahoo didn't seem to think it would warrant anything in the end.

The $500 loan that the bammers are hanging their hats on could just be the player and the coach's version or what bammer wants the public to know. With agents involved, the chances are pretty high that big sums of money were changing hands. A withdrawal from a bank proves nothing.

NCAA knows what to do when players and assist coaches repeatedly ignore the rules, they lay the hammer down just to remind mega programs like USC and Alabama who's the boss and who the real chumps are.

Get ready for the hammer bama

You wish. The NCAA already made an example of Alabama in the Means case in the early 2000s and the NCAA later openly admitted that they screwed Alabama during that case. They know they owe Alabama several get out of jail cards and as long as Alabama cooperates with them they'll get the benefit of the doubt. Unless Alabama has an Albert Means like case with a blatant cheater like LY then Alabama is going to get the benefit of the doubt in these controversies.

If Yahoo is serious about the story then they should just point out Saban's ties to Emmert and how they have been allowed to get off 17 years of probation and slide on everything that has occurred since they have both been hired.
