I think Ole Miss is the better team, but home field should help... Right now, I'm thinking 31-28 rebels.

This game could go either way. I think we are pretty evenly matched. The main complaint I have with AU right now is consistency on both sides of the ball. If we can be consistent then we win this one and upset someone IMO.

We'll score points.

It all comes down to the defense.

Agree they are the better team on paper and will probably be favored by 6 points or so. We get Davis back Ford should be healthy and Garrett. I think our Defense will be fine and hold them to around 30. The question is can our offense finally put together 4 full quarters and consistently move the ball. If we can cut down on drops and 3 and outs we could get a big win at home.

Spread likely will not be more than 4.

EDIT: I was right. The first line is up on 5Dimes and we are a 3 point dog.

We win by a TD. Sorry guys, I'm not hedging my bets here. This is the bellweather game of the season at home and at night. We get it done.

We got bumped to ESPNU. THanks Ole Miss for sucking so much arse at Bama that we went from potential CBS to not even the ESPN night game

If Bama's Offense can score 25 then we shouldn't have alot of problem scoring. If Davis and Jones is back I am not worried about them passing all over us but we have had problems with QBs running on us.

I guess this is the best place to sum the team notes per AUC LINK

-Privately many around the program are stunned older D Linemen have not developed at all since coming to Auburn. BM says it's due to talent and bad previous coaching but more to lack of talent.
-Monty may start against the Rebs and expect the younger linemen get more reps as the season progresses.
-Staff very pleased with O Line especially with Reese.
-PT will increase for WR Stevens in the coming weeks.
-D Line poor play gets some blame for results at MLB.
-Some on D were not comfortable with the short yard package versus LSU so Ellis adjusted and went back to base D resulting in better play on D.
-Whit is leaning strongly to sitting out this year and coming back stronger in 2014. (AUR has already said he would RS this season.)
-C. Davis will play versus the Rebs.
-BM said J. Jones has a good chance of returning for Ole Miss. (Hoke said a couple of days ago he was still out.)
