Manny Diaz was a solid coach at MSU.

I have a hard time believing he took the Texas job and forgot how to coach.
Does an SEC team pick him up?

His defenses at State were. Hence him getting the Texas job.

His whole front 7 from 2010 is in the NFL pretty much.

MSU picks him up after they hire Hud.
He makes Diaz Co-DC when they hire Orgeron because CLANGA, that's why...

I wanted UT to go after him to replace Wilcox after the '11 season. Instead we got the Sunseri train wreck.

Meh... He had Fletcher Cox, Josh Boyd, Pernell McPhee and some NFL LBs to coach at State... A lot of 4 star misses on this Texas D.
Houston Nutt is such a lazy piece of shite.

I beleive this guy did not play College Football, much less in the NFL.
I know a few cases (holtz, Weiss, etc) have not played at a high level and have had some success, but there is just something lacking when someone has not actually played the game at a high level.

Manny's spirit animal is the Bulldog. Once he left his power faded.

In all honesty, about half the teams in the SEC would be lucky to have Diaz on their staff. Ace recruiter, and a solid game day coach.
Texas is reeling because of Mack Brown, not Manny Diaz.

Plus he's very handsome. You could form an all sexy squad with Manny Diaz and Kliff Kingsbury. Bring the women in the stands.

the guys before him were able to put solid defenses on the field with MB as the head coach... I agree he's not the only reason their defense is garbage, but when you can't make adjustments to at least slow down the opposition, you're a terrible coordinator.

Beating Ole Miss like a drum for a couple years doesn't make you a good coach.
