I have a hard time believing he took the Texas job and forgot how to coach.

He had good players at State. He kinda has them at Texas, but overall what we're seeing in Austin is a systemic issue with the program and not with Manny Diaz.

Everyone knows the Big 12 is not a defense conference. Now why that is the case is subject for debate. Manny thought he could play with fire and not get burned. Even Will Muschamp did not just light the world on fire at Texas. But to answer your question, no. No an SEC does not pick him up. Manny will change his last name to Rameriz and assume a new identity. Taking a page from Hugh Freeze he will attempt to coach HS women's basketball, move on to HC the football team, and then go on to become a co-ordinator at the college level, from there if he is lucky he will HC a private school, followed by a brief stint in the Sunbelt as a HC. He will then reveal his true identity and go for the HC at MSU. In other words, hell yes an SEC school will pick him up.
