I went in for an interview with a multiple division company last week and said something pretty fricked up now that I'm looking back and laughing about it.

This company called me in because they were interested in my little entrepreneurial thing I've been struggling with. A couple of their divisions are in my supply chain realm and I have pretty decent knowlege of those industries. This company is losing $ in the divisions that could possibly be used in my processes. They were looking at creating a short term position for me to help them figure out their inefficiencies and how to streamline, blah, blah, blah.

They asked me to tell them about what I'm doing, through the early conversation I figured out their capacities didn't match my processes/product at all so I wasn't worried about sharing with them.... so to the F'd up thing I said.

I basically made the guy handshake agree that if they stole my idea or if I ever saw them produce anything similar, I'd put a bullet in their heads, bar none. surely not a smart thing to say, but I'm heart attack serious about it. No NDA needed. I don't want to work for them so I'm not worried about the job offer.

Hey I've got an email for ya, how's your week looking? I thought I was going to be out of town this week, but I'm in NWA for at least the next 2 weeks.

I once told a guy I needed a lot more money than he offered because his place was such a mess that it wouldn't be worth it, especially if I had to deal with him.

He called and offered me the job with the pay I wanted a few months later when the guy he hired instead of me quit because the place was a mess.

Interviewed with ServPro right out of college and after the guy explained the job to me, I told him that "I didn't get a degree so I could do manual labor."

Had an OT 10 interviewing me for a position at State Farm one time. This was pretty effective.

"My dick's 9 inches and my balls are the size of lemons. I have bigger balls than this entire company does. It would be in your best interest to hire me."

*whipped it out*

"Now suck on it, slut."

I was called out of the blue by a recruiter for Edward D Jones and asked if I would talk with him about a job.

Told him sure what do you have? He was telling me that there was an opening position in the town that I grew up in (a position that was opened when a guy that I knew well growing up quit). He was giving me the hard sell and I shut him down and told him if I were to have interest we would need to talk money and where would I start (with me having ~12 years experience in the business). He gave me a number and I literally laughed out loud into the phone and asked him why he thought I would take a cut of 3 times my last years pay to move back to the town I grew up in. He didn't know what to say. And finally asked if I would have any interest. I replied, "what do you think?" and hung up.

Interviewer: "What would you like to be doing in 5 years?"

Me: "Your job..."

I interviewed with a chronic stutterer. I've never in my life been so caught off guard by something. It was just painful. Approximately 15 minutes and half a sentence later I was just like "Yeah...Nope." And I got up and left.

This frickin guy. Did full length presentations once a month. I cannot imagine the torture.

Anyway, that was a life lesson of sorts. I learned that I much prefer a physical handicap like a dwarf or a cripple. I need time to brace myself for this kind of shite, you know? Frickin A.

You have two things to be concerned about IMO. First you threatened them with serious violence and second and most important if and when one-time comes to get you and put you in federal penal colony on a remote island in the pacific, they're going to pimp your idea and make billions while you do a 15-27 yr stretch
