For the South Ga folks out there - A few cool photos of some old houses & farms. Photographer is from Fitzgerald.

The term "historical structures" might be a tad euphemistic.

That photo from Sumter county wasn't taken more than 5-10 minutes from where I live. Pretty cool pictures overall

A friend of ours and a fellow UGA grad writes for them. We sat next to them and some old money folks at a charity ball and several of the men brought up the fancy shotguns that has just been in that magazine. They went into great detail about these fancy shotguns. I then interjected that I could outshoot all of them with my 1187... This apparently was an antisocial thing to say, but I could almost smell their wives getting moist and that is the memory I will hold onto....

Go to any quail plantation in south Georgia and ask the guides..... and I bet that every one of their stories about some idiot accidentally shooting one of the bird dogs...coincidentally involves an ornate, fancy, $5,000 dollar shotgun.

Side-note: Anybody ever been to Kevin's Gun Store in Thomasville and gotten to go upstairs? Never seen anything like it. Cheapest shotgun you can buy up there is around $7,000.....and for the total psychos, they've got shotguns priced all the way up to near $200,000.

Total insanity. Definitely beautiful to look at though.......
