My 2nd favorite day of the year is almost upon us...March 24 kickoffs turkey season in GA and SC opens on April 1. Got some new property to hunt this year in SC, and can't wait. It's better than Christmas, my birthday, all those state holidays no one cares about, and July 4th combined. Happy hunting, fellas.

Haven't gone in forever

Last time I went I was on my four wheeler and passed right by four of them.

Tried to get my rifle out but they ran off by the time I could get to them

That's some deviant perverted shite right there......

Hunting turkey with a rifle is bad enough....but on a fourwheeler too? WTF?

Are you from Atlanta or something?

Also..... not that I give a shite , but I'm pretty sure that's illegal in Georgia unless your talkin about a muzzle-loader.

Sry dawgfan but I'm.with Jefferson on this one.I shot mine Sunday at 5 steps. No way a rifle should ever be used to kill a turkey. And never ride. 4 wheeler turkey hunting. The best exercise I get is in the spring.

We have a family of turkeys that stroll along the treeline across the pasture most every morning about 6:15 am. I usually take my morning coffee on the back deck and watch for them.

Crispy, where is your land? I live in Irmo and may go to the upstate to do some turkey hunting. Never have hunted turkey but it seems fun and it's nice spring weather and I like turkey!

Ugh, kill them all. I hate stopping for them when they want to cross the street...very, very slowly. It's like they don't even care that I'm in a hurry.
