I know he decommited from A&M a couple days ago. Is he a good player and why did he decommit?
Ole Miss offered today and it is looking like he will visit campus January 25th.

He's a good player who should get his 4th star soon. He didn't really do ANYTHING before this year so he flew under the radar.
He's a solid 6'3, and seems to make the tough catch. Does very little after the catch though.
He has been concerned for months with our receiving class, so it appears competition for playing time scared him off.
I was excited about him, he'll be a good pickup for whoever gets him.

Quincy decommited right after Tony Stevens from Florida committed because he wants a better chance to play somewhere else. We currently have 6 WR commits (7 if you count Griffin who likely won't qualify), and all of them with the possible exception of Tubuyo are MUCH higher rated.
Quincy is a good player though and would do well at Ole Miss if he decides to go there. It would be nice to see him do well at another SEC school.

shite. They have like 8 or 9 receivers in this class. Doing the math, I don't blame him.

Yeah he seems to be open to where he goes and has said he will wait till NSD to decide. Seems like a great redzone target and hopefully he will enjoy his visit the 25th.

he has absolutely ridiculous measurables. Many thought he was one of the highest ceiling guys in the our class but he's going to be a bit of a project. As someone mentioned, he really has only played one season of ball.

His page says he runs a 4.6. Is that accurate? Is he really that slow?

He is right though, dude isn't as good as the other WRs in this class.

a true 4.6 is not slow. Think of it as a fudged 4.5

He's a tall, quality receiver (6'3 185). He'd be a good get for Ole Miss.

I like Quincy but as others have mentioned he saw the competition coming in and decided it wasn't for him. Same with Cameron Echols Luper. Both of them are good athletes with high upside but not as much as some of the monsters we have coming in. Since he is a bit raw he would have also struggled getting PT.
He could well end up being a great WR for Ole Miss or whomever he goes with. I always liked him.

I'll be pissed if he ends up at Ole Miss tearing us up. He's raw but a great athlete. He's also HS teammates with another one of our WR commits, Quiv Gonzales.

If he decommited from A&M due to competition, I doubt he ends up at Ole Miss... We currently have 4 wr's committed and we are expecting Laquon Treadwell to commit next Thursday too.
