What if he had went to AU? Or back to LSU?

CFB is a business. If he makes a business decision and goes, regardless of where that may be, then I don't have standing to be upset about it. The guy was hired to win at UA while he was at UA. He has done that. He has to look out for #1 just like I have to do...

I do too. Makes the conference better. He is good for college football.

I doubt it happens but it's not as far fetched as some think. The browns are not far off from being a solid team. Add a great coach and a few more key players and they can quickly turn it around.

While it would be shocking I think it's something like 5% chance of happening. Very unlikely but too good to stake your username on.

Agreed.

He made us competitive again, and for that, he could go coach Cuba and I wouldn't care.

I could see it being somewhat different if he was a "Bama guy" like Coach Bryant. Saban has no direct ties to the university so it is strictly business.

With that said, I hope (and believe) he stays.

Same here. I was looking forward to 5-7 more years of CLM/CNS H2H to see if Les could get that edge back or not. I find it very hard to believe Coach Saban would take Cleveland job but who knows...another hill to conquer maybe?

He would be foolish to go..he has it set up to where he can literally have a dynasty-like run at Bama

We've already seen that he isn't cut for the NFL. Not a knock on him, he's just meant to be a collegiate football coach

It's hard to see him going back to the NFL at his age.

It's interesting to me that people never really saw him smile before last year, regardless of where he's been. Now is the first time he's been at a program to reap the benefits of his process, and he seems to be pretty happy.
