If you read his book, he hates failure. He thinks he was a failure in the pros. I have always thought he would return to make a wrong a right!

The one that any google search will tell was never occupied or even intended to be occupied by Saban but that was built with partners as an ivestment?

That lake house?
Yeah, his investments with Spinosa here in Baton Rouge is about to blow up - federal judge already ruled in favor of the bank that sued Spinosa - under repeal now, doubt if the repeal will happen. Judgement is around 40 million and Saban is about 15% partner with Spinosa.

The Browns are a HC away from being decent

Not saying that'll be Saban, obviously.

Yeah, it's more the possible GM connection plus he spent a whole lot of time around that area....still not seeing it though.

I'd be surprised but certainly not shocked. And he leaves programs with an exceptional foundation, which, given how other coaches leave their schools, is saying a lot.

Because that's what Bama fans say about our program from 2000-2004. "LSU hasn't won anything without Nick blah blah blah".

Except... we've won plenty without Nick.

I'd be stunned if Saban left the college football world again.
Wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong, though.

This part is the one nugget that makes me think there's any chance at all. If he hasn't completely closed the door on it at this point then you never know.

In fairness, DS, sources have told plenty of credible outlets that Gruden to Tennessee was almost a sure thing...

Ok, I couldn't keep a straight face.

Go look at how well Toldeo, Michigan State and the Dolphins fared in the ensuing years
