It's become pretty clear that LSU has some advantages that Auburn and Tennessee just don't have.

You don't have to have a great coach/transcendent QB to win at LSU. They are lucky enough to be sitting on a goldmine of talent with no instate rival to pull said talent.

Auburn and Tennessee just don't look like they have good long-term prospects for very specific reasons. Auburn has to deal with us obviously, and Tennessee has a shitty recruiting base. Auburn probably is better off, as even with a shitty coach they've had some success recruiting in-state.

All in all, these games are getting fricking boring. LSU-Alabama is the game to look forward to every year at this point. Granted, things are cyclical, but LSU doesn't have to have a great coach to be good each year - Auburn and Tennessee do.

We'll be seeing them every year, and they obviously hate us.

Just because we don't hate them doesn't mean they aren't a rival. They've been our rival for 6 years

It would be if the Auburn and Tennessee fans hadn't already killed themselves.

Our traditional rivals (Tulane and Ole Miss) are only cared-about by older fans.

Bama-LSU is epic every year.

Gumps can't keep us out of their minds.

Good luck getting that arse spanked by Georgia.

LSU has more rivals that they didn't know about than anyone in CFB.

Oh come on now. You LSU fans think about us as much as we think about you.

I think you're underestimating Tenn and AU's potential. They both just need a strong coaching hire (easier said than done) and they're back in the race.

I'm not sure it was that solid. A somewhat drunk, bored, and half-hearted Auburn/Tennessee flame.

FWIW I do think LSU has some real advantages over most SEC schools. Anyone that can think realizes that.

Most LSU Fans think about Bama twice as much as they do all the other SEC teams combined except a very, very small minority.

LSU has a history of beating their rivals to the point they(rival) quits the conference. You sure you want that?
