He'll be let go at the end of the regular season, one of the assistants will coach the bowl game.

There is absolutely no point in firing a coach 3 games into a 12 game season. That kind of knee jerk reaction will only make it harder to find a decent coach.

UT should've pulled an Arky when Kiffin left. Plug an asst. in and wait until you can hire the right guy. By the time you guys get the ship back right, it'll be 10 yrs since you had a competitive team.

Tennessee won't fire him until after the season. However, I could see him announcing his "resigantion" mid-season like Tommy Bowdwen did.

Says the guy that has a team that has had only 1 good scam season in the last handful of seasons. You might want to worry about your own coach...just a suggestion.

Also, for crying out loud, you are talking shite about a middle of the pack ACC team...I would hope you guys would beat them...but you know.....there are no guarantees.

I never once said we would be great. I said we would win 8 games but thats as far as I went. Stay off Tennessee threads and mind your own business. If Vols lose 2 of 3, they're going to finish 4-8. Team doesn't have leadership to withstand early losses.
