Lack of Quality QB

Both AL and LSU have great defenses, however if either team had any quality QB play the game could have been one sided. Saban did not trust McCarron and Miles was afraid Lee was going to give bama the game. The SEC as a whole is lacking quality QB play this year with only Wilson and Murray being able to win games with their arms. If either Luck or Weedon make it to the BCSCG it will be interesting to see how they perform against a great SEC Defense.

Stanford doesnt have the WR to get open and OK St doesnt have the OL to give Weeden time.

Yea - valid. I'm curious to see who LSU goes with as starter from here on out.
Honestly, I know LSU fans are excited about the win (as they should be). However, if I were an LSU fan - I'd be just a little/medium concerned about this ESPECIALLY for a BCS NC game.

Realize both offenses went super conservative to avoid a turnover turned into a touchdown. That was the only way either team was going to put up points. The QB play was as much risk management as the three Qbs being average.

THIS.
Both offenses averaged nearly 40 points per game when not playing teams named Bama / LSU

Agreed.
I'd also add that the receivers for both teams are pretty when it comes down to it. From an impartial observer though, it was fun to watch both defenses. I believe Trent Richardson was probably the best player on the field by far, but a RB can only do so much without a little bit of a passing game as a compliment.
If UGA is to make it to Atlanta, I'd rather face LSU than Bama.

We've been concerned about this for several years now. Fortunately this year both these senior qbs have been mostly more than adequate on an otherwise loaded team.

We think it says much more about your Elite Defense giving us all kinds of problems and that's a testament and sincere compliment to your defense without a doubt.
Then it seemed like Miles realized what kind of game it was going to be, and to play extremely close to vest, (no trick plays, ultra-conservative offense etc)
We feel like if we play any other team in the country, we will have better success obviously runnning and passing moving forward as we have already proven in our other games this season.

Alabama got as much as they would ever get out of McCarron vs LSU (~200yrds), and LSU still won.
ZERO. CHANCE. IN. HELL. we will see as bad QB play from LSU as we did for the rest of the season. If Lee were even REMOTELY on, LSU wins going away. I'm almost praying for a rematch to see this happen.

We would be more than happy to beat that arse in Atlanta.

Next year with Mettenberger we will run through the SEC even easier than we are in the process of doing this year. With regards to this year, none of the teams we will face have anything close to what Bama does on D.

They can both throw well enough to keep 9 out of the box vs non-Bama teams. I also don't believe that we will face a defense as strong vs the run as Bama.
As for Bama... I was very impressed with McCarron. He may have gotten a little rattled at the end, but he almost carried Bama to a win Saturday night. He will be a good one.

if wrs can't get open it wont matter how good the qb is

AL has played one quality QB (Wilson) and LSU will play the first one against ARK. I have said all along that the weak link for bama is its secondary (now ST), because they have not been challenged all year. LSU has a great secondary, but they have yet to be tested by a good QB. A rematch is the only way that these secondaries do not get tested in the BCSNCG.

What about Oregon's Darren Thomas?
I thought Geno Smith at WVU was pretty good too.

LSU just beat the best defense in the history of homo sapiens, why would we be worried about any other team?
