At the very end of McCalebb's run at the 4:30 mark. He is completely fine, then he turns, looks to the sidelines and immediately hits the deck.

IMO if offenses are going to take advantage of rules that allow for them to speed up the game and not allow defensive substitutions, then it is fair game for a defense to take advantage of the rules and fake injuries to get their substitutions in.

Yeah, you're likely to never say this if your Roll Tide Elephants are down a touchdown and running their 2 minute offense successfully.

You retards are ridiculous sometimes

If you have to fake an injury to win a football game, you don't deserve to win.

I would be glad if Alabama was on offense down a TD with a minute to go and a defensive player faked an injury. Stops the clock for us.

I said this about faking injuries against Oregon and any other no huddle team. Run the no huddle all game all you want. Teams will keep faking injuries all they want.

I hope Alabama never resorts to injury faking, but I have no problem if other teams do it.

When you've got plenty of time and you're running a hurry up/2 minute offense you don't want anything stopping your momentum. When you have a team on the ropes, you expect them to either take a time out or deal with it.

It's one thing if someone takes a little longer getting off the ground from making a hit. It's another thing to have someone perfectly fine gingerly lay himself on the ground by way of sideline instruction when he's fine.

That's not football.

Looks like he just wanted to get a quick set of push ups in. No big deal.

Please explain how faking an injury is in the rules.

By the way your opinion sucks ...

Faking an injury isn't taking advantage of the rules.

There is no rule that says "if a defense needs a stoppage in play because they are tired and/or confused, an artificial injury may be used to induce said stoppage".

Faking an injury is ABUSING the rules. Specifically abusing rules put in place to ensure the safety and health of players that are ACTUALLY injured.

Dumbass.

The shitty thing about the new "spread hurry-up/ faking injuries bit" is that players that really are hurt are getting booed. Noone is getting the benefit of the doubt.

If you want to play a gimmick offense that uses the hurry-up b/c you can't line up and win one-on-one matchups, then you should equally expect the opposing team to use a gimmick defense to slow you down and make you play one-on-one matchups.

I mean, let's boo the offensive players for slowing down their own blur.

I don't like their offenses in the same manner that I don't like leaving your starters in a blow-out game just to get "style" points. Kinda cheap. So, i don't mind the defenses using a cheap tactic to level the playing field.

Hopefully this can put to rest the bullshite being spewed by the UGA fans last year about us booing their "injured player". Hell, even the NFL is having to address this nonsense.
