5 reasons why tFlagship bothers LSU fans so much

1. In 2002, Arkansas beat LSU for SEC West crown on a final drive and last second touchdown catch.
2. Arkansas made their national championship team losers in Baton Rouge for their last game of the season in '07.
3. Repeat of 2002 in 2008 - last second TD pass in Little Rock to beat LSU.
4. The only time in the last four years LSU beat Arkansas, it took them OT at home and some ref home cooking.
5. Arkansas beat LSU for Sugar Bowl bid in 2010 which sent LSU to the Cotton Bowl after they started the season 10-1 with only loss to eventual champ Auburn.

They played the SEC Championship game a week later, which was still in 2007.

I'm an LSU fan - playing Arkansas is not a big deal, kind of like Kentucky or Ole Miss.
The LSU-Arkansas games are usually good games but still, its hard to get excited for Arkansas. Sorry. Don't care about any type of rivalry with them. More excited about playing traditional SEC powers like Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Tenn, UGA etc.
Nothing personal against Arkansas.

Arkansas already beat A&M in Dallas, whoopty doo. If LSU was capable of making the conference look any better than Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl, they would have beat Arky for the bid, but they couldn't.

I actually like the LSU-Arky rivalry. I thnk its fun and good for both schools. That being said... tFagship stuff is getting old

Ok I've been trying to ignore all this flagship nonsense, but what exactly is Arkansas the flagship of?

arky = ole miss to me
I know they are a better program of late but until they are winning something notable I'll view any wins they get over LSU as upsets or flukes
I know that's arrogant at some level... but the flagship sorority around here has no standing to complain about that sort of thing

I'm not going to debate it with you... there's no point when it is just the way i feel
My feeling would change if Arky was winning the SEC or competing for national championships... up until that point I view them as a good program that LSU should beat... and failing to do so says more to me about LSU underachieving than anything else
When LSU loses to Bama or Florida it is different to me... like most serious LSU fans I was pretty concerned about how we stacked up entering 2010... because I view those as elite programs and losing to them feels like "yeah, they are probably just better"

Ok I've seen so many posts about Arky-LSU but what makes the Hog ppl so damn confident they can win in Br when they only did it twice since when 92' (93,07). Yeah its played close but come on man one was a 3 OT victory in a year we still won it all.
In the SEC since 92 Flaghip U in Br is a 2-7 that includes some of the worst tiger teams ever, Hog King get a grip

The SEC was making tOSU their bitch until Arky came along and fricked that all up. Way to represent.
You can talk up Arky all you want, we still dont think of yall as a prestigious program.
Win a few BCSNCs, hell, win one, and we'll talk. Til then, Arky fans blowing each other is just funny to us.
