quote:

"If he makes a decision today, you will have it tomorrow in the morning," Jean Claude Kouandjio, the father, said. "He's still confused. We keep talking with him, I don't think he's ready yet. He's the one that who wants more time."

There is no timetable for a final decision, Jean Claude Kouandjio said: "I'm hoping that it will be as soon as possible."

Kouandjio, the nation's top offensive tackle prospect and the No. 4-ranked overall prospect by Rivals.com, and his family discussed his options last night without coming to a decision. The prospect is in school today at DeMatha High in Hyattsville, Md., and will meet with his family again after classes in hopes of finalizing his collegiate plans.

Jean Claude Kouandjio said the family is hopeful that a decision can be reached and that Cyrus Koundjio will sign with one of the three schools on Friday.

Mr Drama King..how could you not have figured this put a few months ago is beyond me?

..maybe he wanted to get paid and now that Auburn is under the microscope they have had to back off their semi-pro recruitment process and he is pizzed that he has to do this for free...

As well he should have, because the title of your thread and the information contained inside is 100% false. That's not you fault, because you relayed what was being reported, but the new announcement decision and the new article deserved its own thread.

I can see Iowa as a compromise... My opinion is the kid wants Auburn, the family wants Bama. Iowa will be where he goes. Probable checking to see if they have room, talk to their coaches, etc...

What's with everyone saying that he wants auburn but his family wants Bama? Has the thought that maybe HE wants Bama too crossed anyones mind?

And I think him not faxing a LOI says something too. So many are just assuming that it means his parents aren't letting him pick aub

I think it has to do with him saying his heart said AU and he had a great vibe with AU and his dad saying that it would be better for the parents if he played with his brother at Bama.

Video interview the scout reporter did (don't remember her name). It was linked here yesterday. Find it if you don't believe me.

For the record, the dad also said it would ultimately be CK's decision and that he just wanted to give him all of the tools to make the best decision for him.

I think ultimately it will be his choice, but if he picks Bama, nobody will ever buy that. They will think he was forced to Bama. Kind of like those that think Calloway was forced to sign with us

CK's Dad and the coach seem to have a different view on how this should be happening.

Dad
quote:

"He's at school today," the father said. "I told him to go to school, quiet his mind, forget about it ... and we will talk about it after school. He's not ready yet."

Yet, the coach is pushing for him to get on the phone with Auburn coaches at noon or before. The coach has called CK twice today and no answer. He is REALLY intent on getting Auburn in the loop.
