Now I have to admit something. I'm not sure whether or not to wear my colors. Part of me says this is unacceptable cowardice but part of me says I won't be able to enjoy the experience if I am being harassed.

Can I call myself a true fan if I don't sport the red and have beer thrown at me? But I'll have family with me, and if this happens, I absolutely have to fight and then proceed to jail. Then there's others riding with me who won't have a way home to MS. So I have to consider them.

The intelligent thing is simply to wear gray. The noble thing is to wear the colors true and proud.

Right now I'm leaning towards a gray long sleeve that's warm and shows off my chest and arms (I am a magnificent specimen I must say) but with a blue Ole Miss skull cap. My brother will be with me as well- he's a burly looking guy who most people would rather not mess with. The the other 3 people are LSU friends/family.

What say you? Rebs, I'd like your opinion especially.

I say you're a puss if you don't wear your school colors.

Wear your gear. If people act the fool and assault you then they'll be the ones going to jail. The decent LSU fans wouldn't put up with purple and gold clad assholes assaulting people with family in company.

Caveat: Don't act the fool yourself.

If I go this year I'm wearing an Ole Miss shirt and LSU cap.

And not as a sign of cowardice, LSU is my 2nd favorite team.

I say worrying about what you'll be wearing in November is ghey. And worrying about being harassed by LSU fans is even ghey'r

I agree. Sounds like a question a woman would ask.

Wear your colors man. Rep your school. Whenever someone harrasses me, I just make fun of how much of a little kid they are being and they usually back down or shut up.

I would take your LSU hat and burn it. I have family there and respect them, but you couldn't pay me to wear anything LSU...

Unless you act like a complete moron, you won't be treated horrible. You will get tiger baited, the occasional moron will go in your face and do it, but just remember that hes white trash.

If you DON'T wear your gear, you won't get any free food and beer
