I think it's going to be a crazy next couple of weeks. Another big story to watch will be the retirement of JoePa!

Not at all.. Saban will leave Bama.. What reason did he have to leave LSU? He loves a challange, and wants to fix things. That's what he does.. UA should enjoy him while they have him because he will be gone.. He's self-centered, so when things are expected from a program he must move on so the center of attention is on what he is doing... It's kind of like when you have a smoking hot girlfriend but that voice in the back of your mind says you could do better..

I don't know if he will retire at Bama or not but, I think that the one place he would think about is Penn State. I just think it could get very interesting if he wins the MNC and JoePa retires! I'm not a Saban hater...I will be forever grateful at how he helped change the LSU program into champions! I just think that he always needs a challenge. His job is almost complete at Bama in record time.

He's got more attention on himself now than he's ever had. No coach has ever had as much attention as he's gotten since he landed in bama. Sorry auburn. We rolling baby...

Haha yes right now he does have attention on himself.. But after a while the focus shifts from the the great things you're doing to we expect this from what you have done. There is a difference in proving everybody wrong than there is in proving everybody right...

Why does everyone seem to think that Penn State would even offer?

Did Notre Dame offer? No.

Penn state has a great fan base, but not rabid like you find in the south. Not the type of program that would hire the gun for number 13, 5 or any other number.

When Penn state was struggling back in the early part of the decade they were not asking fir Joepa's resignation a la bowden/fsu...

Also, saban has said that he is happy. Has can always look around and find a challenge but not every challenge is what it is cracked out to be. I think he learned that with his NFL experiment.

It is a challenge to build and maintain a dynasty.

When Joe pa does retire, they will stay within the Penn State family a hire within. They w

I don't think anyone like Nick Saban would want to be the person to immediately follow Joe Pa.

As an LSU fan I hope Saban would go, but he is gonna be around Bama at least a few years to keep Les in his 2nd or 3rd place.

You're such a moron. You know nothing at all about Saban, so don't pretend you do. I love how Auburn fans were spouting 2 years ago about how he was overrated and overpaid, and now every time a coach gets fired or leaves, they always try and start pathetic rumors about Saban leaving for that team. Grow a pair and get used to it...Saban will be owning the barn for many years to come. And Cheezdick can't do anything to stop it.

You should check out a game at Beaver Stadium.

But in all honesty, I think he's going to retire at Alabama. He'd be an idiot to go anywhere else.

I'll agree it's a challenge to build one, but to maintain one? A dynasty coincides with repeat occurrences, and things that repeat aren't challenges.. And I do remember a few years ago people calling for Jopa's head.. But Penn State's alumni wanted him to go out gracefully.. It just so happened he was contending for 10-11 win seasons after the fact..

Haha ok I'm a moron.. I never stated Saban was overpaid or overrated! I've stated all along he would get Bama back to national recognition.. Do you like it when people place gumps into a generalization? I didn't think so, so frick off.. Now the rest of your post is damn sure moronic so I won't respond to it.

Coker didn't have the same personality traits as Saban, so this doesn't fit the mold.. Saban exits before things become less than desired.. Keep telling yourself he'll die at UA, as long as that makes you happy.. Also Coker was fired, Saban doesn't get fired because that would wound his ego. And as far as placing any worth in what you say, well that was lost when I saw you have roll mother-fricking tide in your SN... The truth of the matter is Saban got word his best option was to leave Miami because he would be forced out, thus you have the "I will not be the coach at Alabama", and then the follwing 180..

Saban has arrived at less desirable jobs than coker...coker arrived at Miami like Les did at lsu....ready to reap the rewards

That only coincides with the whole challenge thing...
