Does anyone realistically think Florida will not make it to the National Championship? They have a cupcake schedule with the only real test at LSU. I think they will hand it to Georgia again. Even if they lose one game, they will still most likely be in the NC game.

well assuming the west champ only has one loss, all they'd really have to do is lose the seccg

I'm pretty sure Florida players would love to play Ole Miss this year. I hope yall win the West so we can hopefully play again.

If my life depended on it, I would bet on them..... but, these things rarely turn out like they are expected to. Also, I think Georgia is going to be a lot tougher than people are giving them credit for.

But they have a huge disadvantage this year because they have to play bama in Atlanta. That won't go well for them.

The term "cupcake schedule" should never be used to describe any SEC teams schedule. If Florida makes it to the BCSCG again this year, they will have fully earned the right to be there. Playing a "weak" non-conference schedule in no way makes it a "cupcake" schedule.

Even with a loss to LSU, I think they will have to lose the SECCG to not make the NC game. I'm guessing there won't be 2 undefeated teams this year.

With Texas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State being so good this year, an SEC team in the National Championship is almost a lock. Just need USC and Ohio State to lose at least 1 game each.

USC and Ohio State play so one will take a loss for sure.

You can be an SEC homer all you want, but it is fairly easy to see that Florida plays apretty easy SEC schedule. 2 ranked teams, and playing LSU after a bye week.

September 19 Tennessee
September 26 at Kentucky
October 10 at LSU
October 17 Arkansas
October 24 at Mississippi State
October 31 vs. Georgia*
November 7 Vanderbilt
November 14 at South Carolina

As far as their SEC schedule goes, it is rather favorable. But making it out of the SEC any year with 1 loss or fewer is quite an accomplishment. Put Ohio State or Southern Cal in the SEC, they would never go undefeated. That's not being a homer, that's just a fact. It's tougher competition week in and week out.

We also get LSU not only after our bye week, but right after they've played UGA. Hopefully UGA can soften 'em up a bit before we face em.

I agree that it is much tougher to go through the SEC with one loss or fewer. It does not happen much, and the teams that do are very very good. I will take a 1 loss SEC team over any other team from any conference everyday of the week. The past few Natiobnal Championships prove that.

That's the truth. Too bad Sanchez left USC, bc I would have loved to have seen him lose against Fla in this years championship game.

We can't say too much with ULL, Tulane, LaTech for our OOC games. It's pretty equal to UF playing Charleston Southern, Troy, & Fla. Int. Washington and Fla. St. are even.

Just saying...
