I had an econ class with Mitch last semester. He didn't seem that retarded, especially compared to others athletes I've have classes with

oh don't get me wrong he was a dumbfrick, but I figured he passed. You can pretty much bank on this not being an issue if he was slotted to be the starter

What? I thought that just by being exposed to the greatest scholar of our time, Houston Nutt, that he would've absorbed enough knowledge to be in grad school already. WRT had me convinced of this, now I'm confused.

I've got a real good idea what is going on here.
There is really no problem with Mustain's academics. He knows he's third team to under classmen and possibly 4th team to a receiver if 1 and 2 got hurt. he's in an incredibly embarrasing situation.
What is he going to do is use these alledged academic issues as an out to a d2 program . B/c's he's already stated he's not leaving USC. He or they are working on him an excuse. or maybe it's Carroll running him off.

I can't speak for other posters, but I have met Mitch multiple times. He's a complete asswipe.
