I put almost 1000 miles on a loner in two weeks a couple years ago while parts were being ordered for my old car. That's why I want to know how long Laremy supposedly had this vehicle and who deemed it as too long.

Hell my wife got a Porsche as a loaner and took it on a extended weekend to Destin. Needless to say when she got back on Sunday night I took that puppy out and put it through its paces.

In regards to Tunsil if they can prove the car was legitimately in for repairs for the duration of the loaner, prove they offer loaners to the general public and then calculate the "extended" time at fair market value. Then they should be able to come up with a general idea if this benefit was greater than $700. When I travel, I usually can rent a car for ~$25 a day. So hopefully he didn't keep it for over a month.

As long as his car wasn't fixed during the time he had the car there shouldn't be an issue.

So, someone go give a mechanic a $100 to help him recall how long it was in the shop.

This sounds like such petty stuff that I am surprised a decent shark tank of Lawyers couldn't fix it quickly.

McCready said on the podcast that Ole Miss didn't know the NCAA had the paper trail from Cannon Motors walking into the meeting. I'm guessing we felt pretty good about things before that.

So Cannon Motors willingly turned it over... The NCAA has no subpoena power, why did they just turn it over? Say it got lost or something...

Or tell them to frick off.

They don't have subpoena power. Go the frick away. Is all you have to say.

Now you turned over the papers.. You are hurting your business

Ole Miss needs to publicly disassociate any/all dealings with Cannon as quickly as possible. It obvious the guy is a loose cannon (yes pun intended) because as a former coach he definitely knew better but just from PR standpoint they can not afford to look like they condone that behavior.

I just want to hear the exact amount of games already. I'm over all this maybe, maybe not speculation. This is getting absurd.

That's the key word. I imagine if this entire situation isn't put to bed soon our SEC brethren will use it against us on the recruiting trail.

Don't get your hopes up with any rumors/inside info/or secret deals. With the NCAA, you'll know his punishment when they tell you. It's maddening.

Only the NCAA favored institutions get their athlete issues resolved in an expedited manner: see, e.g. J. Manzel, C. Newton, and T. Gurley.
