I call BS on this one. The University & the NCAA are slow moving entities. They won't move without pressure correctly applied. We don't hear anything by this evening I word say every Ole Miss fan/Alumni should email the office of the Chancellor. That would get their attention.

Reality check: Tunsil's not playing on Saturday or any time soon. The NCAA takes their sweet time on these things (except with Cam Newton).
In 2010, several UNC players faced similar allegations during the summer prior to the season. Our fan base assumed that the NCAA would finish their investigation prior to the season opener with LSU. Wrong! We were forced to hold out 18 players for that game. In the following weeks, we kept hearing rumors that x and y players would be cleared by the next game. 75% of the players ended up being cleared but it took the NCAA almost the entire fb season to issue its findings.
I really, really hope I'm wrong on this since I would love to see OM at full strength on Saturday. Perhaps Freeze has some inside pull that I'm not aware of.

It's not the university, it's the NCAA. If it were up to OM then this would have been resolved weeks ago. And don't think the university isn't trying to speed things up.

There is a process and it takes time. I've say all along that it's a 2 game self imposed suspension. Know what? After two games, OM and the NCAA meet again to get the all clear, and that is what's happening this week. It's only Tuesday. Odd are the NCAA rep didn't walk into his office first thing Monday morning eager to sign off on this. Nobody does shite on Monday. It's a Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday timeframe

The suspense is killing me. I have this irrational hatred towards Bama right now, as if this were some type of inside job. Nope, just a dumbass move by Tunsil for putting himself in this situation, amplified by a dumbass POS step dad. Sigh.

This is what I'm hearing from a colleague in the legal community, who is close to the program:
1) still up in the air on if he plays this week.
2) the issue came about because of the agent. But that issue has already been covered. Transportation from an agent is behind us.
3) issue on the table is discount on car repair from this summer. Combined with a loaner car during the car repair period.
4) OM is looking for a blanket release of any and all issues. NCAA is willing to let him play, but wants to keep the investigation open if new evidence shows up.
Have no idea how reliable that is, but he's a pretty solid guy.
