Didn’t know Malone was injured.

What don't you understand? He lost two games for us last year by himself. The LSU game still pisses me off. We couldn't beat that steaming pile last year?

Yeah not like we had a historically bad defense or anything

Both of those games had us already down multiple scores when Matt started forcing throws.

and as HJJ said....you're blaming him when our defense was nearly last in the league in every meaningful statistic.

Do you guys know why there are no betting lines for this game? Or at least I haven’t seen any/found any to this point

Our defense played their best game of the season against Arkansas. They forced two Hog turnovers and held them to less than 400 total yards (our second lowest allowed all season). It was not only Corral's implosion, but the timing and location of it which lost us that game. When we had a chance to get back in the game, Corral threw two pick sixes deep in Rebel territory.

I agree as to LSU to an extent. Our defense was atrocious in that game, but Corral threw some really inopportune picks against LSU (as if there is ever an opportune time for an interception). Down 10-7 in the first and at the LSU 14, he threw a pick. He threw two picks in the second quarter in Rebel territory too and LSU punched it in for a TD both times. That's a 17 pt swing at minimum.

That’s weird. I saw it earlier this week with OM at -30 something and the O/U was in the low 60’s, but I can’t find it now.

Guy i quoted stated that Corral making mistakes was one of "two things I felt were pretty consistent about last year's Ole Miss team"

Im simply stating that him making mistakes wasnt a consistent thing. He made major mistakes in 2 games. 2 out of 11 games isnt "consistent"

The argument i could agree with is that it appears as though when he is off he is VERY off.

I take that back. We had Luke Logan last season. No field goal was guaranteed.

Honestly, I do not think he could see the Arkansas players well. I am not sure if it was the stadium being empty, weather (overcast), etc., but he threw several interceptions that hit their dudes right in the numbers.

I'll agree with that.

Well as I'm not an Ole Miss fan, all I have is perception from watching afar. Obviously you guys have a better sense of what he is like.

I was just sharing what I thought last year compared to this year. You guys look good.

Why do we have posters from other teams on this board who are completely ignorant of our team? I could understand one or two of their guys over there but…

The D actually slowed them down in the second half when Corral gift wrapped it to them. He threw for 55%. He threw five int's and we lost by 5 points. Our D was consistently bad; Corral gave away two games with his play.

Chicken made me do it. He is starting a new diversity, equity, and inclusion movement on the team boards and only auburn is exempt

I think preferred pronouns should be a profile requirement. Pass that along to chicken

I wonder how long it'll take for our game to become a rout? There's some good games on tonight

I believe after our first game during the highlights one of the anchors shared a stat that we were running a play every 16 seconds. At that rate, hell, could be by end of 1st quarter.

We better watch out for Tulane next weekend. They've scored 66 today and scored 35 on Oklahoma last weekend.

Probably end up being a 59 - 45 type of game.
