At least we didn't need a 21 point 4th quarter comeback at home against a directional school this weekend.

Lot of positives from this game. Offense put up yards and points, defense got stops and turnovers, and Caden Costa successfully kicked three field goals. He was a severely underrated pickup for us last year.

ETSU is my hometeam I was tickled to death to see that outcome.

Yeah I went to ETSU back in the late nineties... I hated to see their football program quit back in the day, but they are back with a vengeance I hope they go far this year.

The most impressive thing about Ole Miss from yesterday was the lack of mistakes from Corral, and the fact they didnt need Corral to make a bunch of big plays to win, two things I felt were pretty consistent about last year's Ole Miss team.

A strong start for you rebals!

We need to get crisper on the o-line run blocking before we get into SEC play. D looked good against Louisville but then again it was Louisville….have to go against some real talent before we really know how good the D will be.

First game against a good dual threat qb was impressive.

No. They are not. Anything can happen but they shouldn't be able to put up much of a fight

They have several Mississippi kids I assume because Mark Hudspeth spent a season there a couple of years ago.

I dont quite understand this statement. Last year he threw 14 INTs but 11. I repeat 11 of them came in 2 games. So 3 total INTs in his other 8 games. So its not like he normally throws 2 or 3 INTs a game. He is normally pretty spot on.

I do agree with this. That being said end of day he currently leads the SEC in passing so he still had a big night. Just nothing overly flashy for him.

The only negative I saw on offense was the run blocking wasn’t great especially early in the game. It forced a lot of long 3rd downs and kept us from scoring over 50. The offense was good but without the penalties and a few mistakes it could’ve scored closer to 60. The first half defense was the best defense we’ve played since we had the top scoring defense in the country. We tackled at an elite level in the first half and dominated the line of scrimmage with at times 5 in the box. If the defense can avoid getting gashed up the middle it can be potentially be a top 35 defense this year.

Just watched The Season for the Louisville game. Lebby is going to be a damn good head coach when the time comes. If Kiffin leaves then we better make him an offer. I love his demeanor.
