3-and-out 1st possession for a total of zero yards.

it is incredibly difficult to make the jump from OC of an FCS team to OC of an SEC team; especially for someone who has never even spent time working or playing inside of an FBS program.

Gus Malzahn, Chad Morris, and Art Briles went from highschool to Ark, SMU, and Texas Tech respectively. I can't think of any that failed but then they wouldn't be memorable.

Not sure we want Longbo if we want to get highly ranked skill players to come to Ole Miss. That offense won't prepare them, especially QBs, for the NFL.

How in the hell does the offense we have now prepare qb's and rb's for the nfl? If that is a big selling point, Les Miles would still be in Baton Rouge.

The Sam Houston offense looks just like the Ole Miss offense to me. And I mean that in a good way. Same sets, same motions by the QB. Pretty uncanny really.

For every Art Briles and Gus Malzahn who succeed there are a dozen Todd Dodge's who fail miserably.

as the announcers have said He runs an RPO
so the same/similar situation freeze likes to run

and this guy has been a disciple of Mike leach for a long time.
I dont think the begining of this game is represenative of what his team offense can do, its below freezing and everybody is wearing gloves, not to mention these corners are assaulting the WRs

not saying I support him but would like to see tape outside of this game.

They have stated many times that they have the #1 offense in FCS.

Sounds great. But here is my issue. How much of that is against much lesser teams that they are just able to out man and run it up on. And how much of that is against a good legit (for fcs) defense.

They said they didn't play a team with a winning record until the last game of the year.

In the regular season, they played 1 team all year with a winning record. Which is pretty evident tonight

We should pass on this guy. But maybe we should hire the JMU ST coordinator.

Quick google search proves that statement to be false.

I really hope Ole Miss released his name so that tomorrow when they announce the real OC is announced all the fans are thankful it isn't this guy
