Naw, bro, it sucks.

Players can transfer at will.
Players are being paid incredible amounts of money before they even step on campus (much, much more than the illegal shite that happened back in the day). They're employees, for frick's sake.
TV networks control everything from scheduling to kickoff times even down to conference members.
UCLA and Oregon are in the same conference as Rutgers and Maryland.
When Washington flies east to play conference foes Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, etc., the Huskies will fly clean over Pullman, Washington, and an intense, in-state rivalry that will be no more.
Ole Miss will not play Auburn for the first time since 1990 and Bama for the first time since 1992.
Auburn, State, and LSU are not playing in 2024 despite playing 269 games against one another over the course of the first 153 seasons of college football.
The common man in the South is priced out of attending most football games that matter. That hasn't been the case in the first 153 seasons of college football.
College football's regular season, the best in major sports, is devalued and will continue to be devalued.
At some point, players will sit out rivalry games to rest for the playoffs, something that was previously unfathomable.

First part isn't completely true....but the rest is spot on.

You get one free transfer, a possible grad transfer, and then a hardship waiver. The last two have always been a thing.

I know what I meant to say - you can transfer within the conference now.

Yeah they removed the ability for the school to block your transfer to another school in your conference.

I definitely think there should be a rule to, at the very least, you can't transfer to a school that you're scheduled to play the upcoming season.

frick that. It wasn't broken before. Go back to that rule.

I'm mad.

That would make four of the top ten for us, 2 for state, and, oddly, two for uf. That seems pretty good when you factor in the transfers we tend to get. Who is recruiting MS for uf? Sanfrisco Magee best name so far.

Is it bad that QB commits don’t get me that excited considering that we are already pretty well set there for the next 3-4 years?

This guy is the reason UF has 2 of the top 10 MS kids. Saban tried to get him last year to lock up Mississippi but Florida gave him a better opportunity so he went there. We seriously need to consider bringing him on because his ties are incredible and he is going to be a pain in our arse for MS recruiting for a long time if not. Got Waller to commit on the spot and it shocked our staff

QBs transfer too much nowadays for me to get excited about their commitment. I bet more than 50% of 4-5 star QBs transfer at least once.

Is Sunbelt Billy on the hot seat?

Since WW2 Florida has never had a coach with back to back losing seasons.
And they have one of the toughest schedules this season.

Would be awesome to pick up that assistant and Waller.
