This. He knows what kind of betrayal and hurt Ole Miss fans went through with Tuberville. Hell at the time he was in his late 20's so I'm sure he was just as pissed off as any other Ole Miss fans. He knows this would be that type of betrayal especially after all the things he has said about Ole Miss being his home. I don't think he wants to be remembered as another Tuberville and be hated by everyone in his home state.

He said he was 90% before the state game he was leaving. After the state game Neil said the percentages had switched and that Freeze was staying.
