I don't have anything against Godfrey. His opinion pieces are pretty good at times but there was no evidence that Freeze was offered by Florida but he wrote the story and caused a shite storm. That's the only reason I was pissed at him yesterday.

He was the only one who reported that there was an offer. Everyone else, including Florida, said there was no offer.

Guess so. But do you honestly think Florida was going to offer the job to a coach that was shutout by Arkansas and lost to his rival the next week? It would make no sense for a program like Florida to do that. The only reason his story got any traction was because we had just upset Mississippi State. Had we lost to State, everyone would have laughed at him.
