We just offered a CB out of Jones CC so I guess we are still looking at that position.

DJ thinks Jay Johnson right now is a LB. He's projected as a DE because he's put on 20lbs in his first year out of HS. If he puts on another 15-20 when he gets to OM, then he's a DE. It will be interesting to see where East plays him with Joe Anderson and Rasool Clemsons at DE.

Moncriefs cousin, sub 4.4 guy. Idk, I trust the staff and do believe we needed one or two more veteran CB's. I assume he's the best we could get.

David Johnson just cb'd trey smith to UT. Can we please beat them in a recruiting battle. If we lose him to UT, little to Stanford and Akers to Ohio state, all very decent possibilities, this class is going to struggle to finish in the top 40

That would be my guess for sure. He retweets a lot of Queens stuff and Qurrn still puts up Ole Miss stuff. I think we can make room for a 215 lb player that runs a 4.49! Huskey
Trey Smith is going to be a tough one with his sister now working at UT. I'm not going to say that is why she was hired sounds like she completely deserves the job but it does work out well for UT. If we miss on Smith but get Little or missed on Little and got Smith I'm happy. This class will be top 25 at worst.

yeah tough deal with Tennessee hiring his sister, wish we had a position available for her. Don't blame him at all.
His sister has raised him since his mom passed and that is a large salary.
after all we did it with Sean Patterson.
Butch pulled out all the stops.
as for flip, the only guys I feel strongly about that are committed are Brennan and Queen both committed to Louisianna State.
Tua Tagovailoa...would have been nice as hes a bama commit but doubt it.

Diamond walking On is great.
Still need another top tier Qb, with only 2 on the roster after next year.

Well Tucker said that the flip is on defense so I'm thinking Queen and wow would that be huge.
With adding another QB this year I feel it all depends on what the coaches thick or prospects are for next year. If they think we can get a top tier QB in 2018 and then I'm ok waiting. Having 3 scholarship QBs next year wouldn't be a bad thing.
Some of the recent commits I would question in late January or February but if we are taking kids in now I think the coaches truly believe in them. We just need a big time OL and DT commit badly.

1) DT (need 2 we lose Gross and DJ)
2) OT (need another, 5 star from Texas maybe)only lose 3 OL this year.
3) WR ( 1 committed need at least 1 more ) 2 graduate and then String may or may not leave.
4) LB ( lose 3, 2 committed, 1 more )
5) RB (Akers or nobody)
6) DB lose 3 CB and a safety (1 safety and 2 cb committed) need one more.
7) TE - CHF said only 4 on scholarship now (offered a legacy) must mean that Mathis will play LB.
8) QB- not a necessity this year if you can get a position player need filled elsewhere.

We're leading for him, but the Bama offer throws a wrench in it. It's a virtual tie now.
