I didn't even know that was a viable option for him.

That is exactly what I look at to give me an idea of how good the prospect can/will be. anytime UGA offers a Louisiana prospect I can't help but take notice. I feel the same way about Ole Miss, especially after seeing how badly they wanted Godchaux and how good he is already

Also wanted to drop in and say Devin White recently told NOLA.com that he wants to play linebacker. Glad he sees the light and is following the money.

He needs to make up his mind so our coaches can tell him what position they are recruiting him for.

Couldn't they use him like UCLA does that Myles Jack guy? I think he would be valued more to the NFL scouts if he could play both positions.

I actually think we're going to see this more often again in college football. Donte Jackson is primarily a corner, but with his hands and speed LSU will put him in the slot

I don’t know. I would be surprised if it were done on more than just a couple of specific packages. When you get to this level, it is very beneficial for the player to begin honing in on one side of the ball. There are always exceptions to the rule, specifically with once in a decade type players or if a team is that desperate, but there is a reason it is not done in the NFL.

I don't mean it in the sense you'll see multiple guys doing it, just the top 1-3 athletes on the team. Les said in an interview that he told Frank Wilson to never let him not fully utilize an athlete like Patrick Peterson. Donte Jackson is 6', great hands, and runs a 10.3 100m dash. LSU has the WR depth to not need him there, but it's understandable he'll get the occasional look. Also LSU has the secondary depth to let him sit in between and be ready to go. Somewhat similar situation to how

Hey guys, the new rumor on the Erectile Dysfunction Board is that Rod Taylor may be getting processed. Has anyone heard this one or is it just idiocy?

Those guys are retarded. There is a big thread on rivals and they threw that name out. ED ran with it because water is wet.

Any hype from the Southere Elite combine here in Oxford? Is it Lafayette HS only, region, or invite?
