I heard that on the podcast! What Neal said about high school quarterbacks, that they are so hard to predict how they will develop and adapt to the college game. I think all scouting sights put way to much stock in how tall a QB is and how strong their arm is. Jacob Eason is the perfect example he's massive has a cannon for an arm but his footwork isn't great and his release on short passes looks really lazy plus I don't think hes as accurate or as hard working as Shea.

Just what Neal has said about him he eats, breaths and sleeps football. Every interview I've ever seen him in he always talks about what he needs to do to get better.

Well you hear all of these positive things because you are listening to people on the OM side of it talk about it. If you were a UGA fan you'd be hearing all of the positive media coverage about Eason.

A couple observations from Medicomp:
- SP is special. No one is even close to him in the State. You watch SP and then watch other highly rated kids,like Walker or Abraham, and you come away astounded.
- Akers is not a QB but got dayum he is put together & super athletic. So want as a RB in 2017....he is special and a short Dylan Moses.
- DK is a beast. He is at least 6'4 and looked like he was a solid 210ish (he made their TE look small). Everyone knew where the ball was going and couldn't stop it.
- Simmons is a HUGE and can move. He played some TE and I came away impressed with his agility for a 6'4 / 265ish DE!

Can someone provide an offseason update? I haven't really kept up since around Patterson's commitment.
Sidenote, Patterson's uncle lives in my hometown. Saw our Ole Miss flag and came and knocked on our door. Nothing groundbreaking but said it would be the biggest shock in the world if he went elsewhere.

It's starting to look like Denzel Mitchell's not recovering very well from his surgery. Or it could be that we want to switch Justin Conner to corner.
